DAVAO CITY – The Department of Education Region 11 will hold the K to 12 Caravan for the schools division of Davao del Norte, Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos), Panabo City and Tagum City on Wednesday at the RDR Gym inside the Davao del Norte Sports and Cultural Complex in Tagum City.
The event will be attended by a representative from the DepEd central office. Stakeholders from the LGU, parents, teachers, industry partners, students and school heads are expected to give their messages of commitment and testimonies.
An open forum will also be held.
The panelists include DepEd Regional Director Atty. Alberto T. Escobarte, schools division superintendents, 1st district Davao del Norte Rep. Anthony Rafael Del Rosario, 2nd district Davao del Norte Rep. Antonio Lagdameo, Jr., Governor Rodolfo Del Rosario and Tagum City Mayor Allan Rellon, Commission on Higher Education Director Dr. Raul Alvarez Jr., Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Provincial Director Dr. Remegias Timonio and Department of Labor and Employment Provincial Director Erlinda Mamitac. Officers of the Parent-Teachers Association fom Davao del Norte, Igacos, Panabo City and Tagum City will also join the panelists.
The program will include a signing of the K to 12 Commitment wall. (davaotoday.com)
