Group launches project to assist Davao micro business

DAVAO CITY – The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Davao will launch a project “JCI Davao Business Developer” to provide IT (information technology) and multimedia solutions for micro and small businesses.

This first project, the JCI Davao Business Developer project, is conducted to develop to convince investors and companies to invest in micro and small businesses and to develop sustainable organizations in Davao City.

In a press briefing, the Chairman and Project Director Sanju Chugani said that this project “will greatly impact and improve the economy and progression of Davao City”.

Chugani said the project will show business model enhancement services, marketing and promotions, corporate rebranding, website development, graphic design and videography.

“The role of the JCI and partner organizations is to use their influence to encourage registered businesses to promote business opportunity and demand in micro and small business,” Chugani added.

JCI Davao President Louel Zombrano said that any industry is welcome to register “because they provide opportunities that empower people to take change.”

“We believe that through this project, we can achieve sustainable development and economic perks here in Davao City,” Zombrano added.

Zombrano also said “our chapter comprises of young entrepreneurs, leaders and young professionals, we have members who have their own business and we can impart our knowledge to these start-up businesses”.
