DAVAO CITY – Davao del Norte governor Rodolfo del Rosario announces that he has no plans yet after his term ends during his birthday celebration held at the Davao Del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex on Tuesday.
Del Rosario celebrated his 81st birthday with local officials, provincial government heads and employees.
In a Philippine Information Agency dispatch, Del Rosario said during the mass that he is unsure of his plans after serving the province for 15 years.
“It is so difficult because I am really lost as to where I want to go after being a governor of this province,” he said.
Del Rosario also said that he feels he has “not done enough” during his service.
“But life is life. And my governorship has to end. I just hope that the next leaders will continue the legacy that we have instilled in our people,” he said.
During the celebration, the provincial government conducted a Safe Motherhood Day with several health and wellness services for women at the Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex. (davaotoday.com)
