DAVAO CITY — The Davao City Police reiterated its warning that it would not tolerate rogue policemen.
In a Philippine Information Agency dispatch, Davao City Police Office spokesperson, Chief Inspector Milgrace Driz said “ridding our ranks with scalawags is a campaign both by the local government and the city police.”
Driz statement came after the Talomo Police gunned down Police Officer 2 Diamel Pangcoga in Catalunan Grande on Tuesday night while evading arrest.
Pangcoga was assigned at the Regional Police Holding and Accounting Unit and was facing an administrative complaint after allegedly selling the firearm of a colleague in the Regional Public Safety Battalion based in Davao Oriental. (davaotoday.com)
