DAVAO CITY – A soldier of the 68th Infantry Battalion was wounded after an attack launched by the New People’s Army guerilla fighters in Talaingod, Davao del Norte on Wednesday morning.
Lt. Col. Eduardo Gubat, spokesperson of the Eastern Mindanao Command of the Army said the incident happened in Sitio Bagang, Barangay Palma Gil at 9:20 am.
Gubat did not name the casualty but added that pursuit operations are still ongoing.(davaotoday.com)
