DAVAO CITY – The 2016 proposed budget of Tagum City is pegged at P1,034,719.42, which is higher than this year’s budget of P1,000,346.670.00.
City officials held the one-day Budget Planning on Income Estimates in a hotel here last Friday.
The budget planning activity kicked off the local government’s budgeting process, where it estimated the LGU’s income based on the average growth rate of the actual income for the last five years.
The budget of the local government will be finalized once approved by the city council through an Appropriation Ordinance.
