Tagum tricycle drivers prepare for Palarong Pambansa

Some 3,150 tricycle drivers in Tagum City attended values seminar sponsored by the local government which is  hosting of the 2015 Palarong Pambansa in May.

The seminar ran for about six days, catering two batches each day. Topics discussed during the seminar focused on the core values of Filipinos, values enhancement on moral recovery, conflict management and road courtesies.

Meanwhile the City Franchising and Regulatory Board (CTFRB) implemented a fare rollback last week. From 9 pesos, the tricycle fare was lowered to 7 pesos, and 5 pesos for students and senior citizens.

Police Inspector Cosme Masepequiña, chief of the Traffic Management Office (TMO) said that they are now handing leaflets to pedicab drivers regarding the new fare.
