MCPA and Kawagib call on the Organization of Islamic Conference to deny the Arroyo administrations request for an observer status at the world Muslim body
COTABATO CITY A progressive Moro rights groups is set to lodge complaints against the Philippine government before the visiting members of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).
The Bangsamoros human-rights situation is marked with the GRPs (Government of the Republic of the Philippines) blatant offenses (against) the GRP-MNLF peace agreement, said Ren Jalaluddin Ropeta of the Moro-Christian Peoples Alliance (MCPA).
The MCPAs report to the OIC, he said, will highlight the Arroyo administrations war policy in Mindanao, which has (wrought) terror and caused thousands of human-rights violations against the Moro people.
