DAVAO CITY – A live-in partner will now be reunited with her loved one in jail after prison guards caught her hiding drugs inside her sanitary napkin Thursday afternoon.
The police identified the suspect as Sarah Mae Miguela, resident of Monkayo, Compostela Valley. She was found with illegal drugs inside the Provincial Rehabilitation Center of Compostela Valley Province in Mankilam, Tagum City around 12:50 pm.
According to prison guard Eva Laude Labastida, the drug was concealed in a second sanitary pad worn by the suspect during her visit to her live-in partner for eight years, Wendel Bandalones who was imprisoned for murder charges.
Bandalones has been in prison for five months already.
Also recovered from the suspect’s possessions was one heat sealed plastic transparent cellophane sachet containing crystalline substance believed to be shabu worth P500 and one silver foil.
Miguela was also visiting her brother who was jailed because of illegal drugs.
The suspect admitted that she was carrying drug which was given to her by a friend of Bandalones from Mawab, Compostela Valley.(davaotoday.com)
