Department of Labor and Employment XI regional director Ponciano Ligutom announced that the Jobs Fair is slated today Saturday (April 28) at Gaisano Mall, Davao City to end until May 1, Labor Day.
At least jobseekers will have the opportunity to be able to land a job. Domestic and overseas employment will be offered. Dir. Ligutom.
DOLE acting assistant regional director Ofelia Domingo urged applicants to bring along with them their complete resume and grab the opportunity during the 4-day Jobs Fair.
Up for job opportunities are managerial, supervisory and technical positions provided by leading companies including food and agricultural firms.
Those interested are urged to apply with complete resume, certificate of employment, transcript of records and other credentials to facilitate placement.
During this 4-day JOBs Fair, the DOLE employment division together with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration through POEA Mindanao chief Francis Domingo will facilitate the registration of applicants.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and the National Statistics Office were invited to assist in processing of applications.
The four-day JOBs Fair will highlight the Labor Day celebration during its culmination on May 1, 2007.
Applicants are advised to bring credentials for easy processing of documents. For overseas employment are positions for nurses, domestic helpers, baby sitters, cooks, laborers, drivers, caretakers, shoe makers, marble setters, foodservice crew, laboratory technicians, electricians, accountants, performing artists, physical therapists, beauticians, and other medical positions.
