DAVAO CITY – The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) in Region XI awarded top performing third party collecting partners during its 2015 Accredited Collecting Agents (ACA) Forum here.
In a statement, PhilHealth XI said among its ACAs are the office of the Philippine Postal Corporation – Mintal which ranked first in the Non-Bank Category, followed by SM Retail Inc., for having the highest premium collections for 2014.
The Philippine Veterans Bank – Monteverde Branch topped the Bank Category followed by Security Bank Corporation (E-pay Facility) and Land Bank of the Philippines San Pedro Branch. Veterans bank was likewise recognized as the top ACA in the Regional Bank Category.
Around a hundred local bank managers and representatives joined the forum held at a local hotel here.
PhilHealth XI said collecting partners help in “fulfilling its mandate of Universal Health Care (UHC) and is calling out to all ACAs to always ensure efficient collection of premium payment.”
During the forum, PhilHealth discussed remittance concerns, made a review of its policies and collection process for various member types.(davaotoday.com)
