DAVAO CITY, Philippines — A high value target running an alleged drug den was arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Panabo City early morning Sunday.
The suspect, identified as Ismael Salubre III, was also arrested in possession of of 93.0209 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as “shabu”, valued at P800,000.
Five suspected drug user were also arrested along with Salubre during a search conducted by the authorities around 2:30 am in Hofelenia Subdivision, Barangay San Francisco, Panabo City.
PDEA Director Adzhar Albani said Salubre is one of the high value target drug personality in Davao del Norte province.
Albani said the suspects are now detained at the PDEA 11 detention facility while cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared. (davaotoday.com)
