DAVAO CITY – Regional Peace and Order Council Chair (RPOC) and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte announced on Monday that the security plan for the Palarong Pambansa 2015 is already in place.
The Palarong Pambansa will be held in Tagum City, Davao del Norte on May 3 to May 9. Duterte made the announcement in Tagum City after a meeting was held at the Bulwagan ng Lalawigan with provincial governor Rodolfo del Rosario and the region’s security forces including police and military personnel.
Duterte, however, did not disclose the details of the plan.
Duterte already announced last week that checkpoints will be installed in Tagum City during the duration of the Palarong Pambansa.
